About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead our dynamic team in Harrow. As a key member of our estate agency, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of estate agents, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily meetings with the estate agency team to discuss sales targets and strategies
- Coach and develop the skills of team members to achieve KPIs
- Monitor and assess individual team member performance, including conducting one-to-one meetings
- Encourage team development and progression
- Focus on generating new and repeat business
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and buyers
- Liaise with prospective buyers and arrange property viewings
- Negotiate offers and agree sales
- Ensure the business is risk-averse and follows the highest compliance standards for all regulatory bodies
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within estate agency at a senior negotiator position, property valuer position, or higher
- Ability to work well with others to create a team spirit and enjoyable working environment
- Effective communication skills to create trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, and communities
- Ability to create and action business plans relevant to the branch
- Ability to monitor and assess performance of local competitors
- Strong understanding of current legislation related to estate agency
- Ability to manage time-sensitive and high-volume workloads
- Reputation for delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Good telephone manner
- Strong IT skills (basic Microsoft packages)
- Attention to detail
What We Offer
- £50,000 per year, complete on-target earnings
- £22,000 to £25,000 basic salary, dependent on experience
- Five months of supplementary payments to support you while you build your pipeline
