As a Senior Land Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely progression of schemes from Concept/Estimating/Design stage to physical start on site. This involves bringing together and moving forward current and new Client relationships in the New Build department.
Main Responsibilities- Managing the pre-construction process, from initial appraisal through to Tender and/or handover to Technical and on to start on site (where required).
- Coordinating the work of various disciplines, both internal and external, involved with the pre-construction process to bring about a successful, complete, planning-approved and timely Technical handover and site start.
- Promoting effective information flow between departments to achieve budget and programme.
- Procuring contract terms reviews and assisting with client negotiations where required.
- Procuring production and management of pre-construction programmes.
- Appraising new building products and legislation.
- Leading the negotiation on key works packages prior to the construction stage (Groundworks, Piling, Remediation contractors in particular).
- Providing monthly reports on pre-construction activities and progress for the Regional Management Team.
The role is based in Birmingham, offering a competitive salary of up to £76,000 + £6,000 car allowance + bonus + package.
