  • Role Type: 1:1 support for a child with specific needs, including speech and language, behavioural challenges, or high SEN requirements.
  • Contract: Ongoing, with the potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to devise and implement targeted interventions, enabling the child to progress academically and behaviourally.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the child, their family, and colleagues, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
  • Continuously update your knowledge and skills in areas such as child development, autism, ADHD, and associated learning difficulties.

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Child Development Specialist to join our team at Academics. In this rewarding role, you will provide intensive support to a child with complex needs, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

You will work closely with our experienced teaching staff and therapists to identify and address the child's needs, implementing evidence-based strategies and interventions. Your dedication and expertise will contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

The salary range for this position is £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with additional benefits that support your well-being and career growth.
