Westfalia Fruit is a leading multinational supplier of fresh fruit and related value-added products to global markets. We're seeking a talented European Insights Manager to join our team in Europe.

As a key member of our commercial team, you'll leverage data to provide actionable insights, drive category growth, and support our business objectives. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that your insights contribute to both short-term sales goals and long-term category development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the collection and analysis of market, customer, and shopper data to identify opportunities for growth in key product categories.
  • Deliver insights that inform pricing, promotional, and sales strategies across Europe.
  • Oversee the development and execution of category plans in collaboration with the Commercial teams.
  • Lead the communication of category performance to key internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment with broader business goals.
  • Act as the insight's expert in customer engagements, delivering data-driven recommendations that enhance relationships and commercial outcomes.
  • Lead insights presentations and workshops with key European retail partners, highlighting growth opportunities based on customer and shopper trends.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure data and insights are effectively integrated into commercial strategies.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in a market research, insights, or category management role.
  • Strong knowledge of the fresh produce industry.
  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with experience using key data sources such as Nielsen, Kantar, GfK, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in working with cross-functional teams and leading customer-facing insights presentations.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional European language proficiency would be advantageous.
