About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant to join our team at Corporate Travel Management (CTM) UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that their travel needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level customer service to clients, ensuring that their travel requirements are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with emergency actions, contingency plans, and out-of-hours requirements to ensure seamless travel operations.
  • Ensure that client travel policies are adhered to correctly, maintaining the highest standards of compliance and quality.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues in the appropriate offices, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Provide support and assistance as required to colleagues, ensuring that all administration tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Assist with all reservations and aspects of travel, including air, hotel, rail, and car reservations, as well as any other travel-related requests received from clients and partners.
  • Offer travel advice for all types of scenarios, providing expert guidance and support to clients.
  • Be fully conversant in all operational working practices, ensuring that you are up-to-date with the latest industry developments and trends.
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required to meet the needs of our clients.
Requirements
  • Team player, resilient, and adaptable, with the ability to remain calm and patient under pressure.
  • Proven attention to detail and quality standards, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Extensive industry experience in all areas of the reservation process, with a proven track record of success.
  • Fully confident in all aspects of the GDS, with a strong understanding of fares and ticketing.
  • Ability to turnaround fare recalculations and ticket reissues quickly, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and use your own initiative to resolve problems and find solutions.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and multitask under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proactive approach to client servicing at all times.
  • Interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office software, with a strong understanding of industry-specific tools and systems.
