About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing hospital accounts in an assigned geographic territory, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to establish effective business growth processes, and representing the company at industry tradeshows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Manage hospital accounts in an assigned geographic territory, building strong relationships with key decision-makers and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish effective business growth processes, including the development of sales strategies and tactics.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry tradeshows, conferences, and other events, showcasing our products and services to key stakeholders.
  • Market Research: Stay updated with new products, promotions, and other relevant information of interest to customers, ensuring that our sales team is equipped with the latest knowledge and insights.
  • Portfolio Growth: Grow the existing portfolio, including key customers, through strategic sales and marketing efforts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and various support teams to ensure seamless execution of business growth initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience selling into hospital settings is essential, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales expectations.
  • Sales Skills: Demonstrated sales account management skills within a territory, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
  • Financial Acumen: Financial acumen, including the ability to analyze quarterly trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or sales.
