Taylor Hopkinson Limited is seeking a highly skilled Project QS Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the commercial success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Strategy and Administration
Develop and implement contract strategies that align with project goals and objectives. Collaborate with the Work Package Manager(s) and Procurement Lead(s) to ensure timely and efficient contract implementation.
Commercial Risk ManagementIdentify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. Provide robust cost management, including accurate live forecasting and actual costs vs. estimates.
Cost and Commercial DiscussionsLead project cost and commercial discussions, and attend progress reviews as necessary. Provide contractual advice and guidance to Procurement Lead(s) to ensure effective contracting chain operations.
Project Delivery and GovernanceWork closely with the project delivery team to ensure first-class corporate governance and mitigate or transfer commercial risk as it relates to contractual terms and conditions.
Requirements
- Proven Track Record
Deliver high-value on and offshore projects on time and to budget. Proven experience in contract negotiation and delivery.
Contract Management ExpertiseSubstantial experience in contract management, including FIDIC, LOGIC, and NEC3 contracts. Recognised degree or equivalent professional qualifications and experience.
Commercial AcumenGood working knowledge of contract management and commercial principles. Experience in supporting claims processes with in-house and external legal advisors.
Team PlayerAbility to work collaboratively with the project delivery team to achieve project goals and objectives.
