About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Adviser to join our team at Selwood Housing Group. As an HR Adviser, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and support to employees and management, ensuring that our organization remains compliant with employment laws and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR guidance and support to employees and management on employment-related matters
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on employee relations matters
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to drive people-related projects and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics to drive better outcomes
Requirements
  • Minimum CIPD qualification level 3 or above
  • Previous experience as a HR adviser or similar role, with a deep understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Strong experience in Employee Relations
  • Knowledge of employment policies and case law
  • Experience and confidence to advise and influence others
  • An organised approach with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using people metrics
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation

The HR team is in the office a minimum of one day a week, although this can vary depending on demand, and during the odd exceptionally busy week you may be on-site anywhere from 3 - 5 days.
