About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Nurse to join our Community Nursing Team at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.
Job Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled Registered General Nurse (RGN) to work as a Community Nurse, providing high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes or residential settings.
Main Responsibilities
- To assess patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and agencies as required.
- To provide expert wound care, palliative care, and long-term condition management, ensuring patients receive effective and compassionate care.
- To travel independently across the county, meeting strict time deadlines, and have a full UK driving license.
- To contribute to risk assessments, health and safety assessments, and report any changes or newly identified risks promptly.
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- RGN Level 1 and RGN Level 2 qualifications.
- Evidence of professional development and continuous learning.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in community nursing or a similar role.
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and service provision.
- Able to work flexibly as part of a team, with excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Proficient in using computer systems and IT applications relevant to the role.
Salary Information
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £28,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that this is a rough estimate based on national averages and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
