Job Description

Job Title: Head of Commercial

Job Summary:

The Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Commercial to join their team. As a key member of the senior management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving commercial revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including members, partners, and external organizations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and joint ventures.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial planning and management.
  • Lead and manage a team of commercial staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and senior management team to develop and implement business strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Represent the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce at external events, conferences, and meetings, promoting the organization's interests and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of driving commercial revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Strong business development and sales skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a senior management team, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
