As a Finance Manager at Bertelsmann, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for leading the team in various areas, including rights sales contracts, statement and income processing, and credit control. Your expertise will also be essential in ensuring accurate financial clauses in customer contracts are reflected in our accounting system.

Role Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Leading the team in learning aspects of rights sales contracts, statement and income processing, and credit control.
  • Ensuring accurate financial clauses in customer contracts are reflected in our accounting system.
  • Reviewing tax/write-off exception reports and working closely with the Rights Audit Analyst to identify and contact customers for audit.
  • Managing staff, including conducting performance reviews, coordinating training and development, and managing absence.

Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need significant experience leading a medium to large team in an accounting function. An accounting qualification is desirable but not essential if qualified by experience. Strong communication and leadership skills are necessary to effectively manage the team and build relationships with other departments.
