Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Nurse Specialist to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our cardiac division, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiac services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated nurse to work in a dynamic and innovative environment. You will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including coronary angiograms, coronary angioplasty, and pacemaker implantation. You will also be involved in the coordination of patient care, including the movement of staff and patients between wards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures

Coordinate patient care, including the movement of staff and patients between wards

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes

Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of patients

Requirements

Relevant cardiology experience

Degree or Diploma in Nursing

Registered Nurse

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
