About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Cardiac Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiac services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including coronary angiograms, coronary angioplasty, and pacemaker implantation.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and discharge.
  • Develop and implement education programs for staff and patients to improve cardiac care outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of our cardiac services, including quality improvement initiatives and research projects.

Requirements

  • Relevant cardiology experience and a degree or diploma in nursing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of teaching and assessing skills, with a teaching qualification desirable.
