Band 6 Specialist Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Specialist Nurse Practitioner to join our Transformation Unit, working closely with our Senior pleural specialist nurse to manage patients with pleural disease. This is a unique opportunity to bring your skills and expertise to a dynamic team, reducing length of stay and improving patient care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Patient assessment and management in Accident & Emergency, Medical Assessment Unit, and other wards as required.
- Respiratory ward/unit and procedural units, including dedicated pleural rooms.
- Telephone and virtual clinics, patient navigation, and pathway management.
Key Requirements:
- Adult Registered Nurse qualification.
- Evidence of relevant post-qualification study at postgraduate level or equivalent knowledge.
- Minimum 3 years at Band 6 in a relevant setting, with experience of working independently and within a nurse-led service.
