Housing and Wellbeing Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing and Wellbeing Assistant to join our team at Great Places Housing Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our customers, ensuring their wellbeing and housing needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance and guidance to customers, supporting them to fulfill the terms of their occupancy agreement.
  • Encourage feedback from customers, recording and responding to any complaints and compliments.
  • Ensure any safeguarding concerns are promptly dealt with and appropriate action is taken in line with Great Places procedures.
  • Conduct health and safety inspections and report communal repairs through appropriate channels.
  • Take responsibility for communal cleaning and void cleaning, working collaboratively with the wider team.

Requirements

  • Qualified to minimum level 2 in English and Maths.
  • Evidence of IT skills.
  • Experience of providing a customer-facing, front-line service in a busy environment, maintaining a courteous and helpful manner.
  • Ability to develop and project a positive image of Great Places through interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective liaison with colleagues and other stakeholders to resolve problems.
  • Use of relevant Microsoft Office applications and IT systems.
