About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our team at Associated Wellbeing Ltd. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- To deliver direct clinical care under direct/indirect supervision, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for children and young people.
- To coordinate the nursing activity of the placement over the span of individual shifts, ensuring the needs of the children, young people, and families are met.
- To contribute to the development of the service, working collaboratively with colleagues to devise care/treatment plans and incorporate planned interventions and treatments into the care of children and young people and families.
- To maintain confidentiality of information regarding children, young people, families, and individual staff at all times, providing and receiving complex or sensitive information.
- To work within and promote collaborative and partnership working, with both colleagues and the client group, promoting and maintaining effective communication and positive working relationships throughout the placement and wider services.
Requirements
- You must be a qualified RGN, RMN, or RLDN and hold a current registration with the NMC.
- You must have previous experience in working with children and young people, ideally in a residential or inpatient setting.
