Strategic Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our Solutions team at Ocado Group. As a key member of our international partnerships team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development across our global operations.
Your primary focus will be on signing new international partnerships, working closely with C-level executives worldwide to inspire and negotiate complex financial terms and agreements. You will demonstrate ownership and autonomy in managing prospects, coordinating work streams, and leading day-to-day business development activities.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in guiding the strategic growth of our company and ensuring we continue to pioneer the online grocery retail market.
Key Responsibilities- Business development with multiple international prospects, building detailed online P&Ls and negotiating complex fees
- Building excellent relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to ensure client needs are met
- Leading day-to-day business development activities, including presentations, business case advice, and commercial workshops
- Acting as main point of contact with prospective clients, coordinating project plans and regular check-points
- Supporting commercial and technical negotiation of complex contracts
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in business development, commercial acumen, and relationship building. You will have a proven track record of success in E-commerce, Operations, or Technology projects, and a deep understanding of financial statements and P&Ls.
You will be a strong communicator, with excellent written and spoken English skills, and a globally-minded individual with previous experience of working in a global company.
