About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our Solutions team at Ocado Group. As a key member of our international partnerships team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our business through strategic partnerships and collaborations.

Your primary focus will be on identifying and securing new international partnerships across Europe, the Americas, and APAC/MEA regions. This will involve inspiring potential partners at all levels, including C-level executives, and managing the full sales process from initial contact to contract signing.

You will demonstrate ownership and autonomy in managing prospects, coordinating work streams, and leading day-to-day business development activities. This includes building detailed business cases, negotiating complex financial terms, and driving strategic commercial decisions.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in guiding the strategic growth of our company and ensuring we continue to pioneer the online grocery retail market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business development with multiple international prospects
  • Building detailed business cases and negotiating complex financial terms
  • Building excellent relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders
  • Leading day-to-day business development activities, including presentations and commercial workshops
  • Acting as main point of contact with prospective clients and coordinating project plans
  • Supporting commercial and technical negotiation of complex contracts
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in business development, commercial acumen, and relationship building. You will have a proven track record of success in identifying and securing new business opportunities, as well as experience in E-commerce, Operations, or Technology projects.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent written and spoken English skills, and be able to work effectively in a global company with a diverse range of stakeholders.
