Job Description

Lancashire County Council is seeking a highly skilled Adult Mental Health Care Professional to join their Adult Services Mental Health Team. The successful candidate will work with adults with a range of mental health difficulties, providing high-quality care and support to promote their independence and well-being.

About the Team

The Adult Services Mental Health Team is a dynamic and diverse team of professionals who share a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable individuals. We work closely with other agencies and organizations to ensure that our service users receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake complex assessments and commission care for adults with mental health difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Provide high-quality care and support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Contribute to the development of the Adult Services Mental Health Team, sharing expertise and best practices

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Experience of working in mental health services, preferably in a senior capacity
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
