Job Description

We are looking for a creative and passionate HR Lead who is dedicated to building a wonderful inclusive culture within our organization. As an HR Lead, you will be responsible for shaping our recruitment and retention strategy, managing the HR function, and advising senior management on people management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively involved in delivering the HR strategy, proactively leading discussions and developing HR processes
  • Liaise with external suppliers and HR lawyers to manage the HR function
  • Ensure the company's HR policies, contracts, and processes are reliable, up-to-date, and understood across the company
  • Advise managers on people management, guide new managers on relevant skills, lead workshops and training, and help manage performance concerns and disciplinary actions when required
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues
  • Own the recruitment strategy, ensuring its relevance to external and internal forces, and taking proactive actions to hire and retain great talent
  • Oversee new starter inductions, the leaver process, and exit interviews
  • Lead contract delivery and advise on the terms and conditions of employment
  • Oversee the administration of the PeopleHR platform, monitor annual leave and absence, and manage the HR and recruitment budget
  • Oversee employees' training, learning, and development, and work with the Compliance Manager to ensure all HR practices comply with regulatory requirements
  • Deliver against departmental objectives and targets, and manage, guide, and develop the HR Assistant
  • Actively involved in building and nurturing employee culture, overseeing Social Butterflies' activities, budget, and deliverables, and helping to organize internal events

About You

  • You're great with people and genuinely nice to be around
  • Previous HR Lead/HR Business Partner experience
  • CIPD qualified
  • Knowledge of the UK Employment Law & HR best practices
  • Experience in employee relations, supporting senior leadership, budget management, payroll administration, and policy writing
  • Excellent communication skills, knowledge of English, written and spoken, and educated at a degree level
