Job Title: National Account Manager - High Street and Specialist

We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our team in Yorkshire. As a key member of our Global Consumer Business, you will be responsible for managing and delivering profitable solutions to commercial, operational, and seasonal challenges.

About Our Client

Our client is a global FMCG business based in Yorkshire with a market-leading brand and a fantastic reputation within the category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, manage, and deliver profitable solutions to commercial, operational, and seasonal challenges.
  • Implement the internal annual operating plan, driving sales, profitability, and operational targets in collaboration with the customer.
  • Develop recommendations to contribute to the trading and category vision.
  • Support the delivery of high-level plans, contractual commitments, joint business plans (JBP), and overall business objectives.
  • Lead weekly alignment meetings, post-implementation reviews, and update meetings with the support of the wider team.
  • Take responsibility for your own continuous personal development.
Requirements
  1. Previous experience of Account Management, skilled across new business and business development.
  2. An ability to work accurately with numbers and data, evident in their interpretation and use when influencing your customer and stakeholders.
  3. Excellent working knowledge of the grocery retail market, alongside macro and micro influences impacting it.
  4. You're adept at relationship management and have great communication skills, which you are able to flex with your varied customer/stakeholders as necessary.
  5. A high level of commercial acumen, skilled with numbers and excellent attention to detail.
