About the Role

Cavendish Maine Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior National Account Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the Floorcoverings sector, strengthening their team and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute annual Joint Business Plans to deliver agreed business growth.
  • Manage large customer accounts, building relationships with key personnel and taking a proactive approach to account management.
  • Network with national account customers at all levels to maximize business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop promotions, POS, NPD, and account strategies.
  • Conduct regular store visits to understand retailer and competitor initiatives within the market.
  • Monitor incoming orders and ensure they are fulfilled effectively.
  • Investigate and resolve account queries and issues raised on national accounts.
  • Control account budgets and debts, and communicate forecasts to the Operations team.
Requirements
  • Experience winning and developing retail National Accounts in the Flooring, Furniture, UK DIY, Home Centre, Mass Merchant markets.
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate effective initiative.
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office suite - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
