About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Purchasing & Facilities Coordinator to join our Estates and Facilities team at The Adam Practice. This is a varied role that requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a proactive approach to managing purchasing and facilities operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process orders from nursing and admin teams across our 5 surgeries
  • Manage standing orders and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Source and purchase contracts for the practice, working closely with managers and suppliers
  • Coordinate deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods and services
  • Assist the facilities team with maintenance, repairs, and equipment testing
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with staff and suppliers

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven experience in purchasing and procurement, ideally in a healthcare setting
  • Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
