Purchasing Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Purchasing & Facilities Coordinator to join our Estates and Facilities team at The Adam Practice. This is a varied role that requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a proactive approach to managing purchasing and facilities operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process orders from nursing and admin teams across our 5 surgeries
- Manage standing orders and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Source and purchase contracts for the practice, working closely with managers and suppliers
- Coordinate deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods and services
- Assist the facilities team with maintenance, repairs, and equipment testing
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with staff and suppliers
Requirements
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven experience in purchasing and procurement, ideally in a healthcare setting
- Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
