Job Description:

As a Primary School Learning Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and pupils in KS1. You will assist with lesson planning, deliver engaging activities, and provide individual support to students with special educational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher with lesson planning and delivery
  • Assist with the management of behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Provide individual support to students with special educational needs
  • Engage with parents and carers to share student progress

Requirements:

  • Hold relevant qualifications or experience in a primary/secondary/SEN school in the UK
  • Commit to 5 days per week between 8:30am-3:30pm
  • Keen to upskill yourself and take on extra training provided by the agency and school if required
  • Experience with supporting learners with SEN is desirable but not essential
