Cardiac Care Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cardiac Care Unit Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality patient care in our Coronary Care Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing the clinical area, ensuring the safe delivery of efficient and effective care, and promoting a culture of educational development and a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the 8-bedded Coronary Care Unit and the 7-bedded CCU Stepdown area
- Ensure the safe delivery of care in accordance with professional and national clinical standards
- Manage staff performance and service improvement
- Create a culture that promotes educational development and a positive learning environment

Person Specification- Essential qualifications: BSc
- Desirable qualifications: Supervisory/managerial course/qualification, Teaching/assessing qualification, ALS trained/trainer, MSc
- Essential experience: Significant senior experience within a relevant clinical field, demonstrating expertise; experience managing staff; experience working effectively within a multidisciplinary team; understanding of budgetary management
- Essential skills and abilities: Effective communication skills; organisational skills - change management; knowledge audits/standards
- Essential personal attributes: Motivational skills; experience of managing/building a team; demonstrates personal integrity
