Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Lead to join our People Services Transformation team at First Bus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to support the successful implementation of our new HR and Payroll system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the change team to identify training needs and develop training materials and resources for end-users.
  • Liaise with the vendor to develop training content for classroom and online training.
  • Conduct training sessions for different user groups and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with project teams to align training with project timelines and provide ongoing support to users during the implementation phase.
  • Deliver and align on the training strategy for the HR transformation, ensuring the training needs of all stakeholders are understood and addressed.
  • Establish clear readiness KPIs and measure progress against them.
  • Organize the training execution end-to-end, including building an extended training delivery team.
  • Identify innovative training methods to ensure the readiness of the user population.
  • Manage and contribute to the development of the training program content and materials that will fit into the future knowledge ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR system implementations, with a proven track record as a Training Lead.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with knowledge of adult learning principles.
  • Ability to adapt training approaches to diverse audiences, ensuring effective understanding and application.
  • Familiarity with various learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
  • Experience in developing and delivering virtual or remote training sessions.
  • Track record of designing and implementing effective training strategies for large-scale organizational transformations.
  • Understanding of change management principles and their integration into training programs.
  • Excellent project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability to address challenges and enhance the effectiveness of training programs.
