SEN Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join our team at an alternative provision in Newark-on-Trent.
The ideal candidate will have a background in special educational needs and be able to form effective relationships with staff and pupils.
Key responsibilities include working alongside the classroom teacher to promote a holistic approach, setting individual targets, and planning interventions for students with additional SEND support.
Requirements include previous experience working with children with special educational needs, strong communication and verbal skills, and a responsive and caring approach.
