Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Special Education Needs Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join our team at an alternative provision in Newark-on-Trent. The successful candidate will have a background in special educational needs and be able to form effective relationships with staff and pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work alongside the classroom teacher to promote a holistic approach that is stimulating for children with SEN needs, including ASD and ADHD.
* Set individual targets and monitor them closely to design appropriate learning material.
* Plan and deliver interventions for students accessing additional SEND support.
* Ensure every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
* Strong and clear communication and verbal skills.
* A responsive and caring approach to all pupils.
