Job Title: Oncology Sister/Charge Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with cancer, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

* Assist the ward manager in the overall running of the unit and implementing changes to support the wider team
* Carry the 902 bleep for division and hold the fire bleep as appropriate
* Administer chemotherapy within and outside of the division
* Coordinate and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, safe, and kind care for patients

Person Specification:

* Registered Nurse
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Significant post-registration experience within an oncology/haematology setting
* Knowledge of oncology and/or haematology disorders
* Effective communication skills
* Team working skills
* Venepuncture + Cannulation
* CVAD competent
* Oral and IV drug administration
* Cytotoxic Chemotherapy administration
