Are you a confident and ambitious individual looking for a challenging role in customer service?

We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our manufacturing business in Driffield. As a key member of our team, you will handle a variety of customer requests and assist individuals in placing orders through inbound and outbound calls or email.

Your goal is to address enquiries efficiently, effectively, and professionally. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing information about products and the company, and ensuring that their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming and outbound calls.
  • Answer questions about products and the company.
  • Enter and update customer orders and information.
  • Maintain records of calls and customer notes in the company's CRM database.
  • Escalate issues to the technical team or relevant departments as needed.
  • Provide information about new products, clearance lines, and existing items.
  • Track and process orders, invoices, credit notes, and collections.
  • Provide quotations and check product availability.
  • Handle payment transactions.
  • Ask questions to understand customer needs and provide appropriate advice.
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the Customer Service Manager or senior team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with proven experience as a Customer Service/Telesales representative. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle challenging situations, track record of successfully meeting targets over the phone, active listening skills, friendly, outgoing personality with a can-do attitude.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, is not afraid to pick up the phone to upsell to existing customers, and values teamwork. If you are looking for a Monday to Friday position and have a background in customer service, we encourage you to apply.

The estimated salary for this position is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
