Civil Engineering Manager

At PACE, we're seeking an accomplished Civil Engineering Manager to spearhead our construction projects across Kent and Sussex.

As a key member of our team, you'll oversee all stages of construction projects to ensure efficient execution, manage project budgets and resources effectively, enforce rigorous health and safety standards, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and monitor project timelines to meet client expectations.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Supervision: Supervise all stages of construction projects to ensure efficient execution.
  • Resource Management: Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Safety Standards: Enforce rigorous health and safety standards across all sites.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Timeline Control: Monitor and control project timelines to meet client expectations.

Requirements:

  • Proven supervisory experience with strong project control capabilities.
  • Expertise in budgeting, resource allocation, and construction safety practices.
  • Demonstrated success in managing construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills to address challenges proactively.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership abilities to inspire and guide teams effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
  • SMSTS certificate or equivalent site management safety accreditation.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential with equivalent experience).
