Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Nurse Team Lead to join our innovative and dedicated team in Oxfordshire. As a key member of our district nursing service, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding care to our communities.

Main Duties

As a District Nurse Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in providing proactive, caring, safe, and excellent standards of patient care in people's own homes. You will work autonomously, deliver high-quality and evidence-based nursing care, and be creative in addressing the diverse needs of our patients.

Person Specification

We are looking for a registered general nurse with proven leadership experience, a Practice Assessor and Supervisor qualification, and evidence of Level 6 academic study. You will also need to demonstrate an understanding of governance requirements and have experience of formal management and/or leadership within healthcare.

We will support your career progression through a District Nursing career progression framework, including advanced clinical practice and leadership training. You will also receive regular 1:1 support and development, annual appraisal, regular group clinical supervision, and a comprehensive internal training programme around clinical competencies.
