Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of District Nurses in providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in their own homes.
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient-centered care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to District Nurses.
- Registered General Nurse (adult) with a District Nursing Specialist Practitioner Award or commitment to complete the qualification.
- Practice Assessor and Supervisor qualification or NMC Mentor qualification converted to Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor qualification.
- Evidence of Level 6 academic study or ability to demonstrate Level 6 academic writing.
- Formal management and/or leadership experience within healthcare.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and clinical leadership.
