District Nurse Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced registered nurse to join our innovative and dedicated team as a District Nurse Team Lead. This is an exceptional opportunity for a nurse with proven leadership experience to take on a key role in delivering outstanding care to the communities of Oxfordshire.
About the RoleAs a District Nurse Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in their own homes. You will work autonomously, using your skills and experience to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced and unpredictable clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of nurses in providing high-quality care to patients in their own homes
- Work autonomously, using your skills and experience to problem-solve and make decisions
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Contribute to the development of the District Nursing service, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes

We are looking for a nurse with:
Registered General Nurse (adult) qualificationPractice Assessor and Supervisor qualification or NMC Mentor qualification converted to Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor qualificationEvidence of Level 6 academic study or ability to demonstrate Level 6 academic writingDistrict Nursing Specialist Practitioner Award or commitment to complete District Nursing Specialist Practitioner Qualification modules over a maximum 5-year periodWe welcome applications from experienced nurse leaders working in care homes, community hospitals, private hospitals, practice nursing or the acute sector.
