Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Nurse Team Lead to join our innovative and dedicated team delivering outstanding care to the communities of Oxfordshire.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for registered nurses with proven leadership experience to join our District Nursing service. As a District Nurse Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in delivering proactive, caring, safe, and excellent standards of patient care to their local communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nurses in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to team members
  • Contribute to the development of the District Nursing service

Person Specification

We are looking for a registered General Nurse (adult) with a Practice Assessor and Supervisor qualification or NMC Mentor qualification converted to Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor qualification. You will also need to have evidence of Level 6 academic study or the ability to demonstrate Level 6 academic writing. A District Nursing Specialist Practitioner Award or commitment to complete District Nursing Specialist Practitioner Qualification modules over a maximum 5-year period is also essential.
