About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity for registered nurses with proven leadership experience to join our District Nursing service. As a District Nurse Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of nurses in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in their own homes.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to team members.
- Contribute to the development of the District Nursing service.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registered General Nurse (adult) qualification.
- Practice Assessor and Supervisor qualification or NMC Mentor qualification converted to Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor qualification.
- Evidence of Level 6 academic study or ability to demonstrate Level 6 academic writing.
- District Nursing Specialist Practitioner Award or commitment to complete District Nursing Specialist Practitioner Qualification modules over a maximum 5-year period.
