Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Nurse Team Lead to join our innovative and dedicated team delivering outstanding care to the communities of Oxfordshire.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for registered nurses with proven leadership experience to join our District Nursing service. As a District Nurse Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nurses in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in their own homes.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to team members.
  • Contribute to the development of the District Nursing service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registered General Nurse (adult) qualification.
  • Practice Assessor and Supervisor qualification or NMC Mentor qualification converted to Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor qualification.
  • Evidence of Level 6 academic study or ability to demonstrate Level 6 academic writing.
  • District Nursing Specialist Practitioner Award or commitment to complete District Nursing Specialist Practitioner Qualification modules over a maximum 5-year period.
