**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **New Business Development Manager** to join our team in Reading. This role requires a minimum of 12 months' experience in selling IT or telecommunications solutions, with a proven track record of driving new business acquisition and exceeding sales targets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within our existing client accounts, leveraging their expertise in IT solutions to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect and identify new business opportunities within our existing client base, leveraging your knowledge of IT solutions and industry trends to uncover potential areas for growth.
  2. Engage with key stakeholders within client organisations, including C-level executives, IT directors, and procurement teams, to understand their business challenges and IT requirements.
  3. Collaborate with internal technical teams and solution architects to develop customised IT solutions tailored to clients' specific needs and objectives.
  4. Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to clients, highlighting the value proposition of our solutions and services and addressing clients' pain points effectively.
  5. Lead negotiations with clients to finalise contracts, terms, and pricing, utilising your strong negotiation skills to maximise deal profitability and win-win outcomes.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all sales-related inquiries and requests.
  7. Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking opportunities through the sales cycle and providing accurate sales forecasts and reports using CRM systems.
  8. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies, providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients to support their strategic IT decisions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in IT or telecommunications sales, with a proven track record of driving new business acquisition and exceeding sales targets.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A strong understanding of IT solutions and services, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, and unified communications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels of an organisation, from technical stakeholders to C-level executives.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying creative solutions to address clients' business challenges and objectives.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Estimated Salary: Based on national averages and industry benchmarks, we estimate that this role could earn up to £80,000 per annum, depending on individual performance and market conditions.
