About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Work Specialist to join our team at Fife Council. As a member of our Early Intervention Service, you will be working with young people between the ages of 16-18 who are in conflict with the law and require intensive support.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working within a social work setting, particularly with young people involved in offending behaviour. They will also possess excellent communication and advocacy skills, as well as the ability to work flexibly and creatively to support hard-to-reach young people.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £28,000-£38,000 per annum, based on local market rates. In addition to a competitive salary, employees of Fife Council also receive a range of benefits, including pension scheme membership, annual leave entitlement, and opportunities for career development.
