The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.


Job Description


This role involves leading learning within a classroom context, promoting inclusion, diversity, and equality, communicating with other stakeholders, and contributing to wider improvements across the school community.


Required Skills and Qualifications


You will need high levels of interpersonal skills and abilities to work as a member of a team, ensuring positive outcomes for all children and young people in your setting.


You must demonstrate a commitment to your own professional learning as a practitioner through career-long professional learning activity and show how it has impacted on your practice.


Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.


You must be fully registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) and model all behaviour expected of a teacher in Scotland in line with the relevant Professional Standards.


The relevant legislation on the management of denominational schools in Scotland states: 'A teacher appointed to any post on the staff of any such school by the education authority... shall be required to be approved as regards religious belief and character by representatives of the church or denominational body in whose interest the school has been conducted.'
