Visitor Experience Manager

Castle Kennedy Gardens is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visitor Experience Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences for all visitors to Castle Kennedy Gardens.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Shop, Tea Room, and Plant Centre, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and sales.
- Lead and manage a small team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer experiences.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, including effective merchandising and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor customer feedback and mystery visitor reports, using the data to inform and improve the visitor experience.
- Assist with the annual marketing programme, working closely with internal and external marketing teams to promote Castle Kennedy Gardens and its services.
- Take responsibility for managing and developing the visitor experience at the Holiday Cottages, working closely with Housekeeping and the Properties Manager.
- Plan, implement, and review a wide range of annual events, ensuring they are successful and meet the needs of our customers.
- Experience in retail and visitor services sectors, ideally within a Visitor Attraction, Hospitality, Tourism, or similar operation.
- Strong IT skills, including office management, reporting, and stock control.
- Excellent written communication, copywriting, and proof-reading skills, including blogging, vlogging, and social media.
- An appreciation of marketing, promotion, and the influence of social media.
- An enjoyment of rural life and working on an Estate.
- A full driver's license is required.
