Job Title: Visitor Experience Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visitor Experience Manager to join our team at Castle Kennedy Gardens. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional visitor experiences and ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of our shop, plant centre, and tea room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small team of staff to deliver high-quality visitor experiences
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase visitor numbers and revenue
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the shop, plant centre, and tea room, including stock management and till operations
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to the visitor experience
  • Work closely with the Estate Factor and Owners to develop and implement marketing strategies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail and visitor services, ideally within a visitor attraction or hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Full driver's license and ability to travel around the estate
