Visitor Experience Manager

Castle Kennedy Gardens is seeking a highly skilled Visitor Experience Manager to join our team. As a key member of our estate team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional visitor experiences, ensuring the efficient and profitable running of our Shop, Plant Centre, and Tea Room.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small team of staff, focusing on customer service, performance management, and training needs.
- Day-to-day management of the Shop, Tea Room, and Plant Centre, including stock management, till operations, and generating weekly reports.
- Strategic and creative management of the gift shop and tearoom, ensuring innovative ideas and current trends in catering are delivered.
- Monitor customer feedback, mystery visitor audits, and Visit Scotland evaluations to develop suitable action plans.
- Assist with the annual marketing programme, working with internal and external marketing support.

Requirements:
- Experience in retail and visitor services sectors, ideally within a Visitor Attraction, Hospitality, or Tourism operation.
- Strong IT skills, including office management, report writing, and stock takes.
- Excellent written communication, copywriting, and proof-reading skills.
- An appreciation of marketing, promotion, and the influence of social media.
- An enjoyment of rural life and working on an estate.
