Job Title: Visitor Experience Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visitor Experience Manager to join our team at Castle Kennedy Gardens. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional visitor experiences and ensuring the efficient and profitable running of our garden attraction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the visitor experience, including the management of the shop, tea room, and plant centre.
  • Lead and manage a small team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and analyze customer feedback, mystery visitor reports, and Visit Scotland audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement marketing strategies, including social media and events.
  • Manage the budget and resources for the visitor experience, including the shop, tea room, and plant centre.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in visitor services, retail, or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and practices, including social media and events.
