Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Safety Project Officer to join our team at Stratford on Avon District Council. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing projects, policies, and approaches to local issues, working closely with partners to achieve community safety priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new approaches and find problem-solving solutions to community safety problems
  • Lead, facilitate, or participate in projects to prevent and reduce crime and disorder
  • Identify data to justify proposals and produce reports
  • Identify funding opportunities and prepare funding bids
  • Work closely with partners, including Police, Councils, Housing Associations, businesses, and the voluntary and community sector
Requirements

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent organisational skills, experience of successfully delivering projects, ideally within a community safety environment. The successful candidate will be skilled at building relationships and gaining the trust and support of statutory partners, businesses, and the community sector.
