Community Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Safety Officer to join our team at Stratford on Avon District Council. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing projects, policies, and approaches to local issues, with a focus on preventing and reducing crime and disorder in the Stratford District.
Key Responsibilities- Work with partners to achieve community safety priorities, including violent crime, domestic abuse, county line drugs, knife crime, burglary and theft, rural crime, and anti-social behaviour.
- Develop new approaches and find problem-solving solutions to community safety problems.
- Lead, facilitate, or participate in projects to address emerging trends and identify grant funding opportunities.
- Identify data to justify proposals and produce reports.
- Work closely with partners, including Police, Councils, Housing Associations, businesses, and the voluntary and community sector.
We are looking for a self-starter with excellent organisational skills, experience of successfully delivering projects, ideally within a community safety environment. The successful candidate will be skilled at building relationships and gaining the trust and support of statutory partners, businesses, and the community sector.
