About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our team at Jigsaw24. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for owning the development, management, and execution of our portfolio product strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Product Strategy: Utilize your deep understanding of the IT channel to develop and execute a successful product strategy in line with our overriding portfolio strategy.
  • End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management: Take accountability for proactive management from initial scoping of product roadmaps, to launch activity, effective positioning, and end-of-life strategy.
  • Collaboration and Partnership Building: Collaborate with our wider business functions to support customer opportunity through effective pricing management models, vendor engagement, and supply chain negotiation.
  • Market Intelligence and Analysis: Provide intelligence back into the business around market competition, trends, technologies, and product positioning.
  • Opportunity Identification and Management: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive products to identify and manage opportunities and threats.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify, develop, and maintain long-lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships with key external stakeholders to create competitive advantage.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Be diligent and proactive in assessing relevant data sets to help support objective decision-making.
  • Vendor Engagement and Management: Engage our vendor network to support tactical stocking plays to impact profitability within the business while ensuring continual monitoring and improvement of pricing fluctuations.
  • Demand Forecasting and Inventory Management: Develop demand forecasts to inform inventory management, and supply chain strategies.
  • Marketing and Campaign Support: Work in collaboration with our Marketing function to provide campaign content suitable and relevant for our target market.
  • Vendor Activity and Engagement Management: Through collaborative engagement, ensure the correct level of vendor activity and engagement is managed across the various internal functions.
  • Product Strategy and Code Management: Work with our Product Operations and Marketing functions to provide a clear code strategy on our portfolio into the wider business and ensure proactive management to maximize end-user opportunities and web content relevance.
Requirements
  • Strategic Thinking and Communication: You will be a strategic thinker who can develop and communicate a clear vision and product strategy.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: An ability to interpret data sets and be analytical and objective in your thought process to make informed choices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will be a strong collaborator in effectively working cross-department and with key stakeholders to ensure there is clarity on the direction of your portfolio.
  • Entrepreneurial and Creative Approach: You will be curious in nature and have an entrepreneurial and creative approach to your work.
  • IT Channel Knowledge and Experience: You will have a strong understanding of the working practices of the IT channel, including vendor behaviors and competitor awareness.
  • Relationship Building and Maintenance: You will be a natural relationship builder holding the ability to nurture and maintain long-lasting partnerships that deliver value into Jigsaw24.
  • Experience and Qualifications: We are looking for 5+ years working within the IT channel in either a vendor, distribution, or reseller role. Previous experience working in a product management function or similar role is also required.
