About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our team at Travis Perkins. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading the product development lifecycle for a specific group of Benchmarx categories, driving portfolio profitability and SKU efficiency for a market leading product offer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement market leading design initiatives that drive profitable growth of Kitchen Categories
  • Define and manage product ranges, creating usable and functional data for range mapping
  • Review range profitability and make informed decisions to develop, retain, reduce, or eliminate ranges
  • Lead and integrate closely with the team, ensuring business cases demonstrate clear profitability and warehouse SKU efficiency
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with strategic suppliers, staying up-to-date on future developments and trends
  • Support Marketing on CGI, photography, catalogue content, in-store graphics, POS, in-store layouts, bay designs, decorative specifications, and display dressing solutions
  • Support the Head of Product with the delivery of the full end-to-end Go-To-Market strategy, NPD implementation, and management of delete lines and obsolete stock
Requirements
  • Experience in a Product Development role or industry experience
  • Related Category Management and Product Development/Design experience for a multiple retail/trade business
  • Technical awareness of Kitchens, with the ability to spot and interpret fashion and design trends
  • Strong analytic skills to manipulate data and identify opportunities
