Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Support Services Manager to join our team at Cartrefi Cymru Co. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our services and supporting the delivery of high-quality care to our service users.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding leadership role that requires a strong understanding of social care principles and practices. You will be working closely with our Service Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe and supportive environment for our service users and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing leadership and management to a team of support workers
  • Monitoring performance and engaging with supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote a safe and supportive environment
  • Working alongside the Service Manager to ensure compliance with legislation and quality standards

Requirements:

  • QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities in a social care setting
  • Passion for supporting people to live an enriched life and fulfill their potential
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation and management in a social care setting

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 20 days annual leave (rising to 25 days after 5 years), flexible shift patterns, support to achieve necessary qualifications, pension scheme, and employee assistance programme.
