The Role:
  • Carry out general sales administration tasks and order processing to ensure a smooth day-to-day workflow in the sales department.
  • Resolve post-delivery invoice queries, including debit or credit notes.
  • Work collaboratively with the accounts team to resolve overdue payments.
  • Process new sales leads, assigning new customers to agents and processing new customer applications on the website.
  • Assign customers to the correct region and agents on the system.
  • Update weekly stock sold-out lists and forward to agents and the sales office.
  • Build and maintain customer/client relationships over the phone, via email, and face-to-face when exhibiting at tradeshows.
  • Provide great customer service and personalized communication while exceeding expectations.
  • Ensure all areas of administration are prepared for key trading events in the calendar.
  • Provide data and reports to support the Head of Sales, Sales Executive, and Senior Sales Coordinator.
  • Share feedback from agents and customers to help with product reviews, stock issues, and non-sales related issues.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses, and post-sale care to customers.
The Candidate:
  • Experience in a sales or office environment is desirable.
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with a sales order processing system (desirable, but full training can be given).
  • Confident and friendly approach to dealing with customers over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work proactively.
  • Team player.
  • Positive can-do approach.
  • Must live within an easily commutable distance and drive.
